ITAV (It Takes A Village) is a community-centred care platform designed to reduce loneliness and support independent ageing.

At Itav, we believe older adults deserve connection, dignity, and community. Rooted in the African proverb “It takes a village”, we are reimagining elder care as a shared responsibility, not a service reserved for professionals alone.

Support focuses on companionship - from regular visits to a walk or a chat.

Safeguarding, clear boundaries and ongoing check-ins.

We carry out DBS checks and provide clear guidance, safeguarding standards and expectations

You are matched with an older person nearby offering companionship and practical, non-medical support.

You will have access to ongoing support, feedback and clear escalation routes if you ever need help.
